Vijayawada: The State Election Commission (SEC) has published the final photo electoral rolls for the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), with 8,05,797 voters across 86 newly delimited divisions, ahead of the forthcoming local body elections. The rolls were prepared following the recent delimitation of the VMC divisions from 64 to 86.
The final electorate comprises 4,11,294 women, 3,94,397 men and 106 voters under the Others category. Women voters outnumber men by 16,897. The final rolls have been displayed at VMC offices, the NTR District Collectorate and other prominent locations for public inspection.
The 81st division in the Payakapuram area has the highest electorate with 10,307 voters, including 4,832 men, 5,471 women and four others. The 73rd division in New Rajarajeswari Peta follows with 10,303 voters, including 4,805 men, 5,488 women, and 10 others, while the 76th division in the Devinagar area has 10,302.
The 49th division in the Kothapet-Shaik Raja Hospital area has the lowest electorate at 8,437, comprising 4,296 men, 4,140 women and one other voter. The 62nd division in Seetharamapuram has 8,449 voters.
Among women voters, the 73rd division has the highest number at 5,488, followed by the 81st with 5,471 and the 80th with 5,432. The 31st division has the lowest female electorate at 3,785.
In the male category, the 76th division tops with 5,118 voters, followed by the 31st with 5,045 and the 59th with 5,039. The 62nd division has the lowest male electorate at 4,095.
