Visakhapatnam: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Hindustan Shipyard Limited to inaugurate and launch key maritime infrastructure on October 6th (Tuesday).
After reaching Visakhapatnam on October 5 (Monday), the Defence Minister will inaugurate the upgraded Slipway-4 and 300T Goliath Crane, preside over the keel-laying of Fleet Support Ship-5 and launch the Fleet Support Ship at the HSL Dockyard.
After participating in these maritime milestones, the Defence Minister is slated to proceed to Sunabeda, Koraput to lay the foundation stone for the establishment of Shakti Engine facilities at HAL, Sunabeda.
The Defence Minister will arrive in Visakhapatnam on October 5 from Ranopali, Ayodhya after the inauguration of the Shri Narayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya building at Udasin Sangat Rishi Ashram. After his arrival in Visakhapatnam, Rajnath Singh is scheduled to participate in an interaction session at the Naval Dockyard at 7 pm followed by ‘badakhana’.
