Visakhapatnam: Vignan’sInstitute of Information Technology (Autonomous), Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Quantum World Ventures, Bengaluru, to advance the Global Quantum Mission and promote innovation in emerging quantum technologies. The collaboration focuses on establishing and promoting Quantum Labs in key domains, including EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, SecureTech and AI/Quantum. The initiative aims to provide students and faculty with opportunities to gain practical exposure to emerging technologies and strengthen their capabilities in research, innovation and industry-oriented learning.

As part of the MoU, signed in the presence of J. Sudhakar, Principal of the institution and D. Naga Chandra Teja, director of the company and Santosh Talaghatti, CEO, Quantum World Ventures and VIIT will jointly facilitate guest lectures, internships, placements, value-added courses, consultancy, industrial problem-solving and joint research activities. The partnership will support skill development and provide students with opportunities to engage with real-world applications of quantum technologies.
