Visakhapatnam: Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) has been honoured with the ‘Commendable Performance’ Award under the category Engineering Colleges and Institutions at the 18th IEI Industry Excellence Summit and 5th IEI Engineering Education Excellence Awards 2026.
The recognition was presented by The Institution of Engineers (India) in acknowledgement of its continued efforts towards excellence in engineering education, innovation, academic development, and institutional advancement.
Speaking on the occasion, J. Sudhakar, Principal, and Rector V. Madhusudan Rao stated that the award reflects the collective commitment, dedication, and excellence of the faculty, staff, students, alumni and all the institution’s stakeholders.
