Bathukamma celebrations get preparations boost in Hanumakonda
Hanumakonda: Vardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju directs officials to make comprehensive arrangements for Bathukamma celebrations at Arkasaikunta in Gopalapur, Greater Warangal 56th Division.
Nagaraju inspects the proposed celebration venue on Tuesday and reviews sanitation, electricity, drinking water, roads and other basic infrastructure. He asks officials to complete all required works in a planned manner before the festival to ensure women and other visitors face no inconvenience.
The MLA stresses the need for special attention to sanitation and directs officials to ensure adequate drinking water, power supply and road facilities at the venue.
Nagaraju says Bathukamma reflects Telangana’s culture and traditions and calls for creating a safe and convenient atmosphere for women participating in the celebrations.
Division leaders KonkaHaribabu, Anita, MarriPrabhakar, Chinta Ramesh, Sandhya, officials, public representatives, Congress leaders and activists participate in the inspection.
