Govt must take responsibility for police attack: Errabelli Dayakar Rao

Hanumakonda: Former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday condemned the police action against former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, who was reportedly stopped while visiting patients at Warangal MGM Hospital. He demanded that the State government take full responsibility for the incident and initiate action against the policemen involved.

Errabelli said patients at MGM Hospital were facing difficulties due to overcrowding and inadequate facilities, making it necessary for the government to address their problems immediately. He said it was unfortunate that Vinay Bhaskar was stopped while attempting to meet patients and was injured during a scuffle with police.

He alleged that the Revanth Reddy government was attempting to suppress opposition voices and criticised the treatment of BRS leaders. Errabelli urged BRS workers to continue raising public issues and wished Vinay Bhaskar a speedy recovery.
