Wanaparthy: Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi and local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, along with Wanaparthy collector Adarsh Surabhi, on Monday inaugurated the Kendriya Vidyalaya on the outskirts of Nagavaram. Ravi, as the chief guest, cut the ribbon. The school had commenced operations four months ago.

The MP, MLA, and DC inspected the classrooms. They inquired with the principal about the quality of instruction, school administration, admission process, teaching and academic standards. They suggested quality education should be provided to the students. Ravi expressed happiness over the sanctioning of KV for the district; it is a matter of joy that the school was established in a very short span of time, making education accessible.

Megha Reddy credited the establishment of the school to the efforts made by the MP. He noted that the admission process has been completed; the school is functioning successfully. “Steps would be taken to provide a permanent, dedicated building for KV in the future,” he said. He explained that, with the cooperation of Ravi, measures are being taken to provide facilities for the school using Rs 9 crore in CSR funds. “A proposal has been submitted for a Navodaya Vidyalaya in the district; a suitable site has been inspected,” he said.
