Hanumakonda: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal organised its first-ever Industry Conclave: Career Launch Summit–2026, bringing together industry leaders, recruiters and alumni to guide students ahead of the placement season. The two-day programme, organised by the Centre for Career Planning and Development (CCPD), concluded at the Ambedkar Learning Centre on Sunday.
NIT Warangal Director Prof. Bidhyadhar Subudhi, addressing the inaugural session online, lauded the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in the sessions. Dean (Student Welfare) Prof. Kiran Kumar highlighted the importance of holistic development and adaptability in building successful careers.
CCPD Head Prof. P. V. Suresh said the conclave was designed to familiarise students with evolving industry expectations and career opportunities. The event featured leadership talks, panel discussions and alumni interactions, with participation from HPCL, ExxonMobil, Micron and Truveta, offering students practical guidance on workplace readiness and emerging employment trends.
