Surveyors told to cooperate with govt in land re-survey
Wanaparthy: Licensed surveyors must participate in the land re-survey process and cooperate with the government on the prestigious programme, said district collector Adarsh Surabhi on Wednesday.
At a meeting with licensed surveyors, he provided guidelines concerning the process and the role of surveyors.
Surabhi emphasised that cooperation of licensed surveyors is crucial for successful completion of the re-survey.
He clarified that the government would not pay fixed salaries to the surveyors but would provide remuneration at ₹60/acre. Surveyors can earn a good income if they work diligently and skilfully. He made it clear that failure to cooperate with government programs could lead to action against the licences.
The collector stated that the resurvey programme offers the surveyors not only good employment opportunities, but also a chance to enhance their skills. Gaining experience and expertise in re-survey work would increase their professional value in the market.
He advised them to make the most of this opportunity to develop technical skills.
Additional collector (revenue) Vinod Kumar, Survey official AD Srinivasulu, other officials were present.
