A question to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu posed by a tobacco farmer, who killed himself, is creating ripples in the TDP circles.
Is a farmer's life worth nothing to Chandrababu Naidu, when he could spend Rs 5.5 crore on modifying a bus for his own safety? This was the question asked by Simhadri Venkateswara Rao, in a letter to Chandrababu.
Venkateswara Rao, who was from West Godavari, also asked the AP CM Isn't it the Chief Minister's responsibility to ensure that even one farmer doesn't commit suicide?
He warned the AP CM that there are 14,000 tobacco farmers like him in the state. "They have started committing suicide."
Reports say that the letter has not reached Chandrababu yet.
