Health and Welfare Commissionerate in Vijayawada
Medical and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivasa Rao will inaugurate the offices of the Health and Family Welfare Commissionerate, Andhra Pradesh Vidya Vidhana Parishad and the State Health Directorate at Gollapudi in Vijayawada on Friday.

Talking to reporters, here on Thursday, the Minister said offices of the Directorate of Medical Education, Paramedical Board have already started functioning from Vijayawada, besides, the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council operating from the NTR Health University.
The remaining HOD officials of the Medical and Health department would be shifted to Amaravati soon, the Minister said.
Meanwhile, the General Administration Department (GAD)has been reportedlHODy asked to come up with a schedule of shifting the remaining departments from Hyderabad to Guntur and Vijayawada.
Accordingly, while all the departments who were allocated the first floor in the temporary Secretariat will have to be shift first.
Whereas, transport, road and buildings and vigilance will be shifted on July 21, while all other departments were asked to move by the end of July, according to the new schedule, the GAD sources said.
