Madanapalli: In a tragic incident, a 16 year old youth Santosh Kumar studying Intermediate committed suicide by hanging himself at his
house after his mother scolded him for not attending college properly, on Monday. According to the police, Ratnamma, a widow was
eking out a livelihood by working as a domestic servant.
She was upset with his son for not attending classes regularly and had rebuked him. Santosh who was depressed at the scolding hanged
himself when his mother was away at work. Neighbours who found the boy hanging rushed him to the hospital where he was declared
brought dead.
Ratnamma broke down inconsolably at the sight of her son’s dead body.
