Ongole: The government is planning to construct hitech police stations with facilities for the visitors and modern infrastructure for the personnel, announced PV Subnil Kumar, the Addl DGP, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation.
He interacted with the district SP, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu and other officers in District Police Office in Ongole on Thursday.
The VC and MD spoke to the police personnel from constable to DSP level in the DPO and explained the features of the new police stations.
He said that they were taking feedback from personnel at ground level in all districts and were making a list of facilities and infrastructure to be provided in the police stations.
He noted down the requests and suggestions by a few personnel and informed them that their suggestions would be discussed with the other officials for implementation.
The Addl SP Admin K Lavanya Lakshmi, Addl SP DAR T Siva Reddy, SDPO Ongole B Srinivasa Rao, CIs and RIs of the police stations in town, police association president Narra Venkata Reddy and others also participated in the meeting.
