Little children entrall as Krishna and Gopikas in Vijayawada

​Vijayawada: Krishnashtami celebrations enthralled the students of Shirdi Sai Vidyaniketan Elementry School here on Monday. A few students of the school decorated themselves like Lord Krishna and various forms of Lord Krishna on the occasion. They performed few skits on young Krishna‘s acts of stealing the butter, playing with Gopikas at Brundhavanam.

Speaking on the occasion, the school chairman T Sridhar said that to create awareness on the tradition and culture of the country, they had organised this programme. He said that it was the need of the hour to create awareness on the culture and tradition apart from academic studies. School director T Sri Vidya, founder T P Rao, teachers and students were present.
