Viswa Brahmins up in arms against Atchannaidu

Vijayawada: The leaders of Viswa Brahmin community blamed Minister for BC Welfare K Atchannaidu for giving false statements during the Assembly session on Thursday.
Andhra Pradesh Viswa Brahmin Sangham president Toleti Srikanth alleged that the minister while replying to a question posed by BJP MLA Vishnukumar Raju on various schemes and welfare programmes implemented for Vishwa Brahmin community, he made a false statement stating that since 2014 the government had spent Rs 120 crore for the welfare of Viswa Brahmins.
He demanded that the government release white paper on the list of beneficiaries with name, address and Aadhaar number of Aadarana-2 scheme where 28,984 people were benefited.
He lambasted the government for inflating the prices of tools to Rs 12,000 which cost Rs 5,000 only. He said that the people of the community will teach a lesson to the government in the ensuing elections for cheating the people of Viswa Brahmin community. Leaders N Prasad, T Shankar, P Brahmam, P Rajesh and others were present.
