Kurnool: The TD government fulfilled the dream of 11,000 poor people to have a house of their own, Minister Kalava Srinivas said after inspected the flats constructed under the NTR Housing Scheme at SRBC Colony in Nandyal on Saturday, along with Ministers N Md Farooq and Bhuma Akhila Priya, MLAs and other officials.

After inspecting the flats, the Ministers participated in flat allocation through dip system conducted at market yard in Nandyal.

Addressing the gathering, Kalava stated that the government has stood by its promise made to the people. The government is also spending another Rs 150 crore for creating basic amenities at the housing complex, he added.

He further mentioned the government will pay compensation to those, who have lost houses in road widening.

N Md Farooq requested the officials to ensure every beneficiary gets the benefits of the government. Nandyal MLA Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy, AP Seeds Development Corporation Chairman AV Subba Reddy, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pulla Reddy and other officials present.
