Harley-Davidson India has taken the wraps off the 2016 Sportster range of cruisers. The Iron 883, SuperLow and the Forty-Eight models have been comprehensively updated with a new suspension setup, comfortable seats and funky paint schemes.

The entire Sportster range has been updated with new front and adjustable rear suspension to improve rider comfort and control. These units provide improved compression and rebound damping control, improving the ride quality on uneven road surfaces.

The seats have been redesigned and incorporate softer materials to offer more support and better comfort. The Forty-Eight also gets new 49mm front forks, in place of the previous model’s 39mm units. Both the Iron 883 and the Forty-Eight get lightweight nine-spoke cast wheels.

Commenting on this new range, Pallavi Singh, Director Marketing, Harley-Davidson India said, “This is another historic year for Harley-Davidson. We’re raising the bar on Dark Custom motorcycles with the new Iron 883, Forty-Eight and Street 750, the purest expression of the design.”

The Forty-Eight will be available in six new paint schemes – olive gold, candy blue, candy gold, velocity red sunglo, billet silver and vivid black. The SuperLow will be offered in ice pearl/frosted teal pearl, red sunglo, superior blue and vivid black. The Iron 883 on the other hand, will come in olive gold, candy gold, charcoal denim or black denim paint schemes.
