Superstar Pawan Kalyan who has been using Fortuner for the past 16 months has recently got his hands on the fourth generation Mahindra Scorpio. The monstrous vehicle comes in fiery black. The actor has specially purchased the car, one of the most successful sports utility vehicle that has lured many a car enthusiast towards it, for security purposes. There were reports that the actor’s convoy had a tough time controlling the fans as he was on his way to a Khammam hospital to fulfill an ailing girl’s wish a fortnight ago.

The actor’s PR machinery confirmed the development when contacted. “Yes, the actor-Jan Sena chief has purchased a Scorpio but he would be using it only when he is required to tour the two states following his political calls.”


This top end trim, which is equipped with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, is incorporated with a fully automatic AC unit including rear roof mounted air vents, which keeps the entire cabin pleasant. It is also equipped with a touch screen infotainment system that has CD player, radio tuner, USB port and AUX-In socket. In addition to these, it also supports bluetooth connectivity for calls and audio streaming. Besides these, it is integrated with navigation system that helps to choose a right direction. Built with a lightweight steel material, the top end trim is loaded with several safety features that ensure maximum protection to its occupants; it is bestowed with features like airbags for front passengers and rear parking sensors including a camera.
