"It does take us across borders, tells people about our culture, talks about our music and somewhere down the line, it also explains what India stands for, in its own, sometimes mad, sometimes colourful and sometimes in a little over the top way," added Shah Rukh.

"We all have been struggling for years to think of the film industry as organised and visionary. Through our Punjabi, Hindi, Bengali and other films, we hope that someday we will be able to crack the code in terms of international viewership," said Shah Rukh.
