Kurnool: A software engineer of the town, Lakshminarayana, committed suicide by hanging in his house at Annayyanagar, following a row with his wife, Aruna.

They both studied in the same engineering college. Later, they renewed their friendship and opened up romance via the social networking site Facebook.

They got married and soon Aruna insisted that they should live in a separate house. Lakshminarayana refused to the proposal and that led to disputes between them. His refusal led to serious conflict between them.
Trouble arose after Aruna left for her parents’ home to celebrate Sankranti, along with Lakshminarayana. It was alleged that he was manhandled by his father-in-law there. In a huff, he left for Mysore, after the row. Despite his several telephone calls, Aruna refused to join him. Frustrated, he resorted to suicide, after leaving a note.
In the suicide note, Lakshminarayana blamed his wife, in-laws and brother-in-law for his desperate act, and wanted severe punishment against them.
While his relatives maintained they were unaware of the couple’s row, Aruna claimed she did not know the cause of the suicide. Police took up investigation on the basis of the suicide note.
