80-yr-old woman robbed, murdered
Unidentified miscreants looted an 80-year-old woman and killed her as she resisted their bid on Sunday night in Vizianagaram.

S Venkata Apparao, Circle Inspector, said that K Sankaramma, (80), has been living alone in Kanukurthi Vaari Veedhi after demise of her husband K Appala Narasimhulu 12 years ago.
However, on Sunday night some miscreants entered her house and fled away with 50 grams of gold and Rs 3 lakh cash from her home. The unidentified robbers seriously injured her for opposing their bid which led to her death. On Monday morning, the neighbours informed the police about the same.
After getting information additional Superintendent of Police N V Ramana, DSP P V Ratham visited the place of offence and enquired the locals about the incident.
