4 arrested for cheating job aspirants

Four persons, including a Secretariat employee and a chief executive officer of news channel in Hyderabad, were arrested by the Central Crime Station on Tuesday for allegdly cheating two job aspirants of about Rs 5 lakh on the pretext of securing for them jobs of assistant engineer rank in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGenco).
Hyderabad: Four persons, including a Secretariat employee and a chief executive officer of news channel in Hyderabad, were arrested by the Central Crime Station on Tuesday for allegdly cheating two job aspirants of about Rs 5 lakh on the pretext of securing for them jobs of assistant engineer rank in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGenco).
The arrested were Komi Reddy Mallanna (33), CEO of a news channel, T Ramesh (43), lab assistant at a private college, D Venkateshwara Rao (44), a government employee in Secretariat and B Naresh Babu (28). They all hailed from Hyderabad.
Naresh told the aspirants that he would secure the question in advance for them to secure higher marks in the examination, the police said.
