Hyderabad: The Shamshabad police on Thursday arrested one more driver hired by slain gangster Mohammed Nayeemuddin. The accused was remanded in judicial custody.Shaik Fayaz of Miryalaguda in Nalgonda was taken into custody when he was moving suspiciously at Satamrai at Shamshabad.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT), investigating into the Nayeem’s criminal activities, is understood to have initiated the process of sending notices to the banks in which the gangsters and his accomplices stashed away their illicit money.The Narsingi police also reportedly filed a petition in a local court for permission to open the lockers hired by the gangster and his accomplices.
Meanwhile, the SIT officials took Nayeem’s cook and caretaker Syed Farhana and Afsha into their custody on Thursday for interrogation. The SIT officials took the duo to Narsingi police station for questioning. Nalgonda police and clue teams of Hyderabad were also present during the questioning of Farhana and Afsha.
In a related development, the Vanasthalipuram police took into custody Nayeem’s driver Sridhar Goud and his associate Balaram for interrogation. The court permitted the police to keep the duo in their custody for five days.
