In a mad race to get tickets, leaders are jumping from one party to another. And TRS is the favourite destination for many. Candidates, who are miffed at not getting assurances on ticket from TDP, BJP, Congress, etc., are looking at TRS. Many hopefuls already met either KCR or Kavita to get assurances on ticket.

Congress has to deal with a rude shock, as Malkajgiri sitting MLA Akula Rajender has joined the TRS and Lakshma Reddy is ready to follow suit. Rajender and Lakshma Reddy are vying for the Uppal ticket. Reports also suggest that Rajender has sought assurances on a ministerial berth as well. Sources say that G Sayanna, who is likely to get TDP ticket from cantonment, had talks with TRS chief and they suggest that if KCR assures him of ministry he would be another leaping frog.

Musheerabad’s TDP hopeful MN Srinivasa Rao reportedly spoke to KCR’s daughter Kavita and sought assurances on Musheerabad ticket. With BJP seeking Musheerabad ticket as part of alliance talks with TDP, it will be interesting to see the developments. TDP corporators Murali Goud and Sadasiva Yadav, who are vying for Jubilee Hills ticket, are ready to join TRS.

Meanwhile, Goshamahal TRS’ hopeful and Mahesh Bank owner Ramesh Kumar Bang is in talks with BJP to switch sides. However, it is learnt that local TRS leaders are unhappy that lateral entrants are being considered for ticket rather than those who were with the party since its inception.
