Parking, traffic restrictions for Republic Day. The City police imposed traffic restrictions and made parking arrangements in connection with the Republic Day celebrations at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, at 9 am on Sunday.

The entry to SP Road between Central Telegraph crossroads and YMCA crossroads will be ‘one way’ between 7 and 11 am.
Cars having passes will be allowed from CTO junction towards YMCA before the commencement of the parade and in the reverse direction towards CTO junction after completion of the parade.
The road from Cantonment Garden to SBH Cross Roads will be closed for vehicular traffic from 7 to 11 am.
All invitees coming on vehicles with AA, A-1 and B-1 car passes from Begumpet side are requested to proceed via Rasoolpura junction and CTO flyover, and those with similar passes coming from Tank Bund and Ranigunj side are requested to proceed via MG Road and Parklane. They will pass through Central Telegraph island/Plaza junction to the Parade ground side on SP Road and alight at their respective alighting points. Invitees with similar car passes coming from Cantonment side towards SP Road via Secunderabad Club, Tivoli, Plaza crossroads should take left turn and park at their respective enclosures after alighting.
After invitees alight at the main gate from the vehicles with ‘AA’ car passes, the cars will be parked in the VIP parking area – by the side of iron barricades on SP Road.
The vehicles of invitees with ‘A-1’ car pass, after alighting at the gate A-1, will proceed to park the vehicles in front of the GHMC office under the flyover.
The vehicles with ‘B-1’ car pass after alighting the occupants at gate B-1, will proceed up to SBH junction, turn left and park their vehicles in the compound of the office of the Chief Engineer, Ordnance Factory.
Invitees having ‘A-2’ car pass coming from MG Road, Begumpet and Secunderabad Cantonment side will proceed to Gymkhana grounds, alight there and walk up to their respective enclosures.
Invitees having B-2 car passes will have to come via RP Road and SBH Cross Roads and proceed straight up to Parade grounds eastern gate, take right turn and get into the compound of the office of the Chief Engineer, Ordnance Factory, where the alighting and parking lot is available. Duty car pass vehicles may be allowed to park at Gymkhana Grounds.
Cars without passes will come via RP Road, take right turn at SBH junction and proceed up to YMCA junction. Scooters and cycles can be parked at Siddanthi College lane, near Lamba Theatre.
After the programme, vehicles having AA, A-1 & B-1 car passes will leave through the SP Road towards Plaza junction/Telegraph Island. Vehicles with A-2 car pass parked at Gymkhana grounds will leave towards Tivoli crossroads. Vehicles with B-2 car pass parked in the compound of the office of the Chief Engineer, Ordnance factory, will leave towards SBH junction.
The invitees are requested to display their car passes prominently on the left side windscreen of their vehicles for easy identification. They are requested to come in time as indicated in the invitation cards.
Similarly the invitees having AA, A-1 and B1 car passes coming from Begumpet and Punjagutta after 8.50 am will take deviation in front of Chillah Dargah (near Plaza Junction).
The ambulance and fire tender will be parked behind the Parade formation.
