45,899 visit zoo during weekend

The Nehru Zoological Park (NZP) witnessed close to 46,000 visitors in the last three days. 14,699 visitors made it to the zoo on Saturday and another 31,220 people visited the zoo on Sunday. The zoo authorities established additional ticket counters to meet the rush and all the battery operated vehicles were put to use.

The zoo authorities established additional ticket counters to meet the rush and all the battery operated vehicles were put to use. Additional security was outsourced to ensure safety and security of animals and visitors. The toy train also made additional trips. The zoo earned revenue of Rs 14,92,647 in the weekend.
