BC students’ besiege Collectorate

Nizamabad: Members of the Backward Classes Students’ Association on Tuesday laid siege to the district collectorate here demanding release of the fee reimbursement dues.

The police arrested the association leaders when they tried to gatecrash into the office complex.

Addressing the protestors who raised anti-government slogans, State Association leader Srinivas Goud accused the TRS regime of neglecting the problems of students.

He demanded the administration to immediately make available the pending due amounts.

The Association members also staged a dharna to register their protest against the government for its alleged indifference to the issue, which, Goud pointed out, was agitating the students across the State.
