Steps to revive CCI unit Union Minister assured
Union Minister Hansraj Gangaram said that the Centre will initiate steps to revive the Cement Corporation of India unit here.
Adilabad: Union Minister Hansraj Gangaram said that the Centre will initiate steps to revive the Cement Corporation of India unit here.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, he said that the Union budget, while making unprecedented allocations to the agriculture sector, increased the funds for internal security of the country.
The allocations to the defense sector constitute 45 per cent of the budget funds. Also, he said that the Centre increased allocations to Mudra scheme for the benefit of petty vendors.
Allocations under the crop insurance scheme also increased manifold, which benefited many farmers.
He said that an airport will be constructed on the outskirts of the city, provided the State government extends support for it.
About 400 acres of land is available for constructing the airport near the city.
