The representatives of the BLF organised a publicity campaign under the leadership of party leader T Lingaiah here in Zaheerpura, Srinivasnagar, Prakashnagar and Sundaraiahnagar under Three Town in Khammam.

Speaking on the occasion, Y Srikanth alleged that during a survey conducted by the representatives of BLF, it has been learnt that people living in Khammam city were facing many problems such as lack of proper drainage systems, no proper interlinking of CC roads and defunct street lights apart from the menace of street dogs and monkeys.

Many people still did not have any proper shelter to live in, some were living in rented houses and were unable to pay the rents, he said adding that by identifying such people, the government either must allot housing sites or double bedroom houses to them.

District leader of the BLF Y Srinivas Rao, speaking on the occasion, alleged that even after the completion of three months of time, the government did not sanction loans to people belonging to BC community till date.

He demanded that the government sanction loans to the people belonging to BC community immediately and provide housing sites to the people living on Gollapadu channel before vacating them.

He urged the representatives of various working unions, people’s organisations and student organisations to participate in the ‘Mahadharna’ going to be held on June 27.

BLF leaders B Yakaiah, S K Imaam, V Srinivas Rao, S K Babu, Venkanna, S Sudheer, P Upendra Chary, Hanumantha Chary, S Veera Babu, Veerabhadram, B Srinivas Rao, P Sulochana, S K Kulsana Begum, Shankar Prasad and K Babu were present along with others.
