30 Telugu students detained in US reaches Hyderabad

Of the hundreds of Telugu students detained in US, 30 of them reached Hyderabad in the wee hours today. It is learned that the students landed in the city around 2 am and met their parents who reached the airport late on Monday night.

Efforts are on to bring the remaining students to the country and the Telugu associations in the US are seeking the help to immigration lawyers to represent the Telugu students. US Telangana Association convenor Naveen made an appeal to the students to return India who are residing in the country after their F1 visa expiry. 

Naveen said that the remaining students will be released with the involvement of centre and state governments. Hundreds of students were arrested in the US for getting admission into fake University.
