Ranchi: A Maoist leader was killed in a gun battle with police in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district early on Thursday, police said.
Bajiram Mahto, area commander of the banned Maoist outfit People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) was killed during the gun battle in Tundi forest. He was wanted in many cases, including abduction and seeking extortion, police said.
