Good news on GST front
That the government is mulling over bringing of 99 per cent goods and services in to 18 per cent GST slab is great news for the people The GST council should immediately take steps to implement it The multiple slabs in GST have been defeating the intended purpose of the system, that is to simplify the taxation
That the government is mulling over bringing of 99 per cent goods and services in to 18 per cent GST slab is great news for the people. The GST council should immediately take steps to implement it. The multiple slabs in GST have been defeating the intended purpose of the system, that is to simplify the taxation.
The only news that we are hearing till now is an increase in the tax collection quarter after quarter. There is no news of any relief measures either to the customer or service provider. The anti profiteering mechanisms are not seemingly at work. The fuel rates are not yet brought in to GST. More number of essential goods and services should be made zero taxed. Now the government should ensure that the people can have the benefits directly by the GST.
