CID police arrested Sukanya, treasurer of Heavenly Interventional Ministry which has duped people up to Rs. 270 crore all over South India. She is the one of the prime accused in the multi-crore scam multilevel marketing scheme which rocked more than one South Indian states. Sukanya is the second wife of John Prabahakar who is accused No 1 in the scam. His son Shakeel is the second accused.
Tamilnadu police had already seized Rs. 220 crore worth properties from the possession of John Prabhakar. He has collected in the multilevel marketing scheme which is also known as chain scheme Rs. 80 crore from the people of Tamilnadu and the rest from the people of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The CID traced Sukanya in a small village near Chandragiri working for a tailor for Rs. 10 wages per day.
