Lakshmibai said that licenses were given to the commission agents to purchase food grains from the farmers and it was improper on their part to go on strike.
She said that the government has not imposed any conditions on them while making purchases from farmers. She said that the farmers cannot be forced to sell only at government purchasing centres.
