Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Uttam Kumar Reddy lashed out at the TRS government here on Friday for showering sops to the Hyderabad citizens all of a sudden for deriving political benefit in the ensuing GHMC polls.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan along with party working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, vice-president Nagaiah and Congress NRI Cell chairman Vinod, Uttam Kumar Reddy accused the ruling party of cheating the people by making a string of promises in view of the impending GHMC elections

He also questioned the ruling party as to why it was not fulfilling its pre-poll promise of providing 12% reservation to Muslim Minorities. Alleging that the TRS government was not caring to implement reservations even though it released a recruitment notification for filling vacant posts.
