The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders on Monday slammed opposition parties for “spreading lies” on irrigation projects and warned of dire consequences if they failed to mend their ways of causing hurdles in the path of State’s development.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders on Monday slammed opposition parties for “spreading lies” on irrigation projects and warned of dire consequences if they failed to mend their ways of causing hurdles in the path of State’s development. Addressing the media here on Monday, MP Balka Suman and Whip G Sunitha lashed out at Congress and Telugu Desam parties for indulging in “foolish talk” over the projects, including the agreement signed with Maharashtra.
Suman alleged that TDP leader Revanth Reddy was trying to make a fuss on the projects mischievously and was propagating lies. “Revanth must stop lying on the projects. People will not believe opposition leaders for their meaningless comments on the projects. We would have appreciated Revanth had he objected to Andhra Pradesh government’s plea in the Supreme Court against the projects in Telangana,” Suman said. “TDP leader will face the music if he failed to stop badmouthing on the irrigation projects and developmental works,” he added.
