Ministers K T Rama Rao, Harish Rao, Eatala Rajender, Naini Narasimha Reddy, MPs Vinod, Suman, MLA Shobha, Deshapathi Srinivas were present.
KTR said those who participated in the statehood movement would get due recognition. In future, a few more leaders would get such appointments, he said. He hoped that the Chairman would take foward the plans of the government.
Harish Rao expressed happiness and extended thanks to KCR for the appointment. He said efforts would be made to irrigate every acre of agriculture land in the State.
He charged that lift irrigation had gone defunct during the Congress regime and the TRS government would allot funds to restore them.
He also said that no farmer or farmworker would migrate from Palamur to other places for livelihood as the lakes are brimmimg with waters.
