​Mahabubnagar: The efforts by The Hans India and HMTV have proved fruitful in helping four orphan children at Acchampeta in Nagarkurnool district on January 29.
The live show conducted by HMTV with these orphan sisters melted many a heart that came forward to help them. Good Samaritans provided all help to them, including financial assistance.
While some visited the children, others aided by transferring money to their bank accounts. The local people also came to their aid by providing them with clothes and household goods.
The Chaitanya Junior college set up a donation box in the college for two days and collected an amount of Rs. 5,110, which they presented to the children by visiting them.
“A musical night is planned on February 9 by Anjani Seva Samstha. The money collected will be spent for the children,” said Balaji, a member of the Samstha.
The children expressed happiness when people came to visit them. Many lauded the publicity given by Hans India and HMTV.
The Hans India and HMTV thanked all the donors and compassionate people for supporting the good work.
