Traffic violators undeterred

Hyderabad: The traffic police department is making their efforts to control traffic violations but some motorists cocking a snook at the regulations, be they auto drivers, two-wheelers or any other vehicles. In spite of installing cameras and traffic police cracking down on the violations, there seems to be no change in the city.

Traffic police have also set up advertisements with messages such as “Wear helmet drive safely.” People should understand that challans are not issued to earn money; it is used so that they do not violate the rules, says P Srinivas Reddy, Traffic Police Inspector, Miyapur Junction PS.
