Warangal: Telugu Desam Party politburo member and Maha Kutami’s candidate for Warangal West constituency Revuri Prakash Reddy demanded that the TRS party release a white paper detailing its promises and fulfilment during its four-and-a-half-year rule in the State.

Speaking to media persons in Hanamkonda on Friday, he said it is going to be an uphill task for the TRS to retain power in the State. The TRS would hardly reach double figure mark in the upcoming elections to the Assembly, he predicted.

For the last few months, the graph of TRS fell drastically indicating its anti-people policies. On the other hand, the Mahakutami is gaining ground in the State and sure to wrest the power from TRS, he said. Recent surveys indicate that Mahakutami has an edge over the incumbent TRS, he added.

Instead of disclosing their achievements before the people, the TRS leaders are hellbent on blaming the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Reddy said, terming it as bankruptcy of the ruling party.

Further, he said that formation of Grand Alliance is a historical necessity and there is nothing wrong in allying with the Congress. The single point agenda of the Maha Kutami is to unseat the TRS government. Instead of dispensing good governance to the people, the TRS focused on encouraging party defections so that to weaken the Opposition parties, he said.

Referring to the dissidence in Mahakutami, Reddy urged the Congress leaders to woo the DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy who also filed his papers as a rebel. Further he urged the alliance leaders to prevail over Rajender Reddy in withdrawing his nomination.

The TDP would get three minister posts if the Grand Alliance is voted to power, Reddy said, stating that he would be one among them. Referring to the development during his term in Narsampet, he assured rapid development in Warangal West constituency.

Senior leaders Pulluru Ashok Kumar, Gattu Prasad Babu, Jatoth Santhosh Naik, Tallapalli Jaipal, Syd Mansoor, Hanmakonda Sambaiah and Md Raheem were among others present.
