Kothagudem: Two labourers were electrocuted at Lingalapalli village of Dammapetmandal in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district on Monday. The incident took place when the vehicle they were travelling in came in contact with power supply line. The deceased were identified as Rapa Durga (19) and PillaTarun (18), and hail from Shankhavaram in East Godavari district.
According to police the deceased were travelling on a tipper cabin which came in contact with 11kv power supply line. They suffered a massive electric shock. Death was instant for the duo. Aswaraopet CI Abbaiah and Dammapet SI Praveen booked a case in connection with the incident and shifted the body for post mortem.
