LB Nagar: EBC Forum state convener and former single window chairman Kolanu Shankar Reddy performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s portrait at Balapur Junction on Sunday. He said that they performed it as mark of gratitude for allotting 10 per cent quota to economically backward sections (EBCs) in the society.
He hailed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that the moment it came to power at Centre, the party had been striving for uplift of EBCs on all fronts.Forum representatives Mahender Rao, Dhana Lakshmi, B Shankar, T Srinivasa Gupta, Anjaneyulu, Enugu Ram Reddy, S Prabhakar, Nagarjuna, Prakash, B Shravan, Madhu Reddy, Suresh Gupta, Narasimha Yadav, Raghu Gupta, Mahender Reddy, G Raju, Sachin, Kishore and Manmohan took part.
