nai2Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu has resumed the on-goingA 'Vastunna-Meekosam' padayatra in the district from Srungavaram village in Natavaram mandal on Monday after taking a two-day rest following the advice of a doctors team.

Ignoring the advice of the doctors to suspend the padayatra following heavy swelling and pain in his ankles, he began his mission. As he experienced pain soon after reaching Gandhinagaram village, he was forced to rest there for some time. Later, he resumed yatra with an impressive following including women, aged and children.

Naidu during his roadside speeches, alleged that the faulty policies and lack of foresight of the ruling Congress government has led to the present power crisis, skyrocketing of prices, lack of LPG supply and insecurity for women in the society.

He took strong exception for capping the supply of LPG Cylinders to six per annum adding that the TD would scrap interest on farm loans and streamline the disbursement of scholarships, mid-day meals and supply quality power to all sections if it was voted back to power. Chandrababu covered 7.8 kms in the day and reached Tandava Junction in the evening.

He was halting there for the night at Mother Teresa B Ed College, D Yerravaram village in Natavaram mandal in Narsipatnam Assembly segment. A Party leaders Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, Rural District president Dadi Ratnakar, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murty and others accompanied him.
