Peddapalli: The youth must be aware of all welfare schemes implemented by the government and must fight against corruption, urged Telangana Janasatta State president Muduganti Sudhakar Reddy. He was the chief guest at the ‘anti-corruption week’ celebrations at Dharmaram of Peddapalli on Monday.

Speaking at the meeting held at Government Junior College here, Sudhakar Reddy said the several people were unable to make use of several government welfare schemes meant for weaker sections due to lack of awareness.

This is the reason the government had formed new districts, so that the fruits of welfare schemes will reach all, he added. He requested the people to know the government schemes and develop economically.

Speaking on the occasion, college Principal Pasham Surendar suggested the students to involve in various developmental activities taking place in their villages after gaining awareness on various welfare schemes implemented by the government. They were also told fight against corruption to build a healthy society.

College lecturers D Srinivas, Geetha, Bhavani, Devender, Linganna and others were present along with the students.
