Innovation in Electronics was the theme at the second international conference on Innovations in Electronics and Communication Engineering at GNI campus, Hyderabad which was held on Friday and Saturday. The message this time revolved around tickling the young minds to be innovative and practical in their research.

The chief guest Dr E Sai Baba Reddy, Rector JNTUH gave an insight to the research, caution about plagiarism. Dr HS Saini, Managing Director of GNI, briefed the audience about their national and international workshops and conferences on changing trends in the field of engineering and technology and bi-annual journal named ‘Journal of Innovation in Electronics and Communication Engineering’ and ‘Journal of Innovation in Computer Science and Engineering’. In these journals, the faculties from entire country and abroad get a chance to publish their research work.

Technocrats, delegates, researchers, faculties and students attended the conference. Internationally acclaimed researchers and professors from 10 countries including India participated in this research and innovation driven conference. Prof. Abdullah bin Ibrahim from University of Malaysia, Prof. S V Kota Reddy from Manipal University, Dubai, Prof. Naziruddin from Switzerland, Prof. Vamsi from Canada, Prof. Ramanujachari from USA and DRDO Directors were among the eminent personalities who shared their ideas with audience about the changing trends in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

During the plenary session, 10 papers were presented by foreign authors. The conference ended with a gala valedictory function and participants received certificates. The chair recognised the best paper in every session. They resolved to extend this platform every year for students, researchers, technocrats to excel in innovations.
