Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy stormed into the final of the Telangana U-16 Asmita Football League 2026 after impressive semi-final victories in Nizamabad on Sunday.
Nalgonda defeated hosts Nizamabad 3-1, with Himabindu (14th), Keerthana (38th) and Hemasri (55th) scoring. Jahnavi netted Nizamabad’s lone goal in the 36th minute.
In the second semi-final, Ranga Reddy blanked Khammam 3-0. Ananya (35th), Lahari (47th) and Teertha (62nd) were the scorers.
The league is being conducted by the Telangana Football Association from September 4 to 7.
