HPRC Draw 10-10 with US Club in Kentucky Polo Thriller

Paris, Kentucky: The Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club (HPRC), representing India, drew 10-10 with Commonwealth Polo Club of the United States in the Kentucky leg of its 2026 international tour at Paris, Kentucky, on Saturday night.
The arena polo final, played under lights, remained closely contested through four chukkers and overtime, with neither side able to establish a decisive advantage. Chaitania Kumar, president of HPRC, and Arsalan Khan scored four goals each for India, while Saif Attari added two.
India fielded a three-man team of Kumar, Khan and Attari, riding horses provided by the host club. The match was played at Commonwealth Polo Club’s arena, about 20 minutes from Lexington, in the heart of Kentucky’s thoroughbred country. National flags of India and the US were carried into the arena before the opening chukker.
“That was as hard a game of arena polo as any of us have played,” Kumar said, describing the contest as neck and neck throughout. He thanked Commonwealth Polo Club for providing its horses, arena and hospitality.
Result
USA (Commonwealth Polo Club) 10, India (HPRC) 10. Scorers for India: Chaitania Kumar 4, Arsalan Khan 4, Saif Attari 2.
