Apple Music is finally available in Pakistan, more than 11 years after the service's initial launch, as Apple expands its music streaming platform to four additional countries. This latest rollout also includes Albania, Brunei, and Burkina Faso, bringing Apple Music's availability to 172 countries and regions.

The expansion was spotted by Aaron Perris on X following an update to Apple's media services availability support page on September 30, 2026.

Apple Music launches in Pakistan and three other countries

With this latest update, users in Pakistan, Albania, Brunei, and Burkina Faso can now access Apple Music. The addition of Pakistan is particularly notable given the long wait for the service, which has been available in many other markets for years.

The rollout also coincides with Apple's recent changes to iCloud+ plans in several regions. Three of the four new Apple Music markets were included in the list of regions where iCloud+ now bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost. Brunei is the exception, as Apple TV remains unavailable there.

Apple Music app for Android gets a "Liquid Glass" redesign

This expansion of availability comes alongside a major update to Apple Music for Android. Version 7.0 has entered beta and introduces a redesign dubbed "Liquid Glass."

Reportedly, the update includes a floating bottom navigation bar and a redesigned mini-player, bringing elements of Apple's latest visual style to the Android app.

Apple continues to expand its services business

This latest rollout follows the expansion of Apple Pay support in India, as the company continues to bring its services to more markets.

These moves come against a backdrop of slowing revenue growth from services, making international availability a key component of Apple's efforts to broaden the reach of its digital offerings.
