Apple Rumoured to Launch Three Devices Soon: MacBook Pro and More

The biggest change may happen with the MacBook Pro line. It looks like the MacBook Pro will get its big design change in a long time. Some reports say Apple is making a MacBook that could have a touchscreen and OLED screen. It might also be thinner. Have a new look.

Major Update for the MacBook Pro

Apple is reportedly working on a high‑end MacBook. This MacBook could. Carry the MacBook Pro name or launch as an entirely new "MacBook Ultra" model. According to reports from 9to5Mac and MacRumors this new MacBook would sit above the existing MacBook Pro lineup. The existing MacBook Pro lineup is expected to feature M5 Pro and M5 Max chips and the new MacBook would be above it to replace it.

The laptop is rumoured to use an OLED display replacing the mini-LED technology. OLED panels give blacks and higher contrast and also improve HDR performance in some situations.

Touchscreen support would be one of the impressive features. For a time, Apple has kept touch features away from the Mac even though they have touchscreens, on the iPhone and the iPad. The new MacBook would be built to work with touch interaction and also with a trackpad or mouse.

Additionally, there is talk that Apple is working on a design and a reinforced hinge to keep the screen stable when someone touches it. Another change that was mentioned is the inclusion of a "Dynamic Island"-style cutout to replace the notch.

Uncertainty remains about the name and launch date. Reports say the device might arrive between October and December. The global memory chip shortage could impact Apple’s plans.

Rumours about a new Apple TV and the "HomePad"

Apple is also said to be working on an Apple TV 4K. The current third-generation model came out in 2022, which means it has been the time without a hardware update, among Apple's products.

The next model is expected to have an A19 or A19 Pro chip and it will also have support for AI-based Siri features. The existing Apple TV 4K was released in the United States with a price of $129 but Apple increased it to $199 later.

The third product could be the rumoured Apple smart display often called the "HomePad." This device is expected to bring a speaker and a screen. It will run on an operating system that uses parts from Apple's current platforms. Reports say it might have Siri, a camera, widgets and Apple apps like Photos, Notes, Music and Calendar. A display mode similar to "StandBy" is also said to be in the works.
