For buyers who plan to keep their iPhone for many years the higher battery service cost is something to keep in mind. It adds to the expense especially when you already have to pay a lot for the device when you first buy it.

If your iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max is, out of warranty and you need a battery the fee is Rs 13,900 and the fee will apply to battery replacements.

The increase appears to be limited to battery replacement. Other major out-of-warranty repair fees—including those for screen damage, rear glass, and camera replacement—remain largely unchanged from the previous Pro generation.

Apple has not specified the reason for the Rs 1,000 increase in the battery replacement fee.
